Byron Candle Co. candle system has been designed to be created, not just burned. Our refill system lets you refresh your candle again and again, turning everyday candle lighting into a calming, creative ritual at home.
Follow these simple steps to create your candle:
1. POUR
Fill your vessel with pearled wax.
- Pour wax directly into a clean, heat-safe vessel, leaving a small gap at the top so the wax doesn’t overflow.
- You can refill an existing Byron Candle Co. limited edition vessel or use your own favourite container/jar.
2. STYLE
Make it yours.
- Insert your wick into the wax, gently pressing it down so it stands upright and centred.
- Now comes the creative part. Style your candle to suit your space or mood.
- Add shells, stones, crystals, or keep it beautifully minimal.
- Your candle can change with the season, your décor, or your ritual.
- Each refill becomes a new creation.
3. LIGHT
Time to enjoy your candle.
- Light the wick and allow a melt pool to form on the first burn. This helps the candle burn evenly.
- Sit back and enjoy the calm glow as your space softens and your ritual begins.
4. REFILL
Refresh and create again.
- When finished, allow the wax to cool completely.
- Gently remove the used wick, top up with fresh wax, insert a new wick, and style again.
- Now you have a new candle, without throwing anything away.
Your candle doesn’t need to look the same every time. Refresh it. Restyle it. Change it with your mood, your home, or the season. Think Valentines Day, Easter, Halloween, Christmas and on-point personalised birthday candles.
Wick & Safety Guide
For the best and safest burn:
- Always use a heat-safe vessel.
- Keep the wick centred and upright before lighting.
- Leave at least 5 cm between multiple wicks.
- Trim wick to around 5–7 mm before lighting if needed.
- Do not burn for more than 3–4 hours at a time.
- Keep candle away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable materials.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Make It Your Ritual
Lighting a candle can be more than just adding ambience to a room. It can become a small, grounding moment in your day, a pause between busy and calm.
Use your candle to mark transitions. Light it as your day slows down, while you cook, journal, bathe, read, or simply take a few quiet breaths. Over time, the simple act of lighting your candle signals to your nervous system that it’s time to soften and unwind.
